Mobile Communication Device | Tessera
Sponsored by Tessera, a company focused on the miniaturization of mobile technology,
I developed both a physical model and a series of interactions for the mobile
communications market with a team of four other students. Looking at mobile
workers including event planners, field scientists, construction workers,
and more we performed contextual Inquiries, cultural probes, concept validation
and other research methods to develop a series of potential interactions.
Our final result was a physical form model and three main interactions.
My main focus on the project was during the initial research, the development
of the physical model, and the development of a video sketch to capture
how the device could be used.
